In my never ending quest to get a little sumthin’ sumthin’ for Snarky Rider’s featured rescues, Jenna and I have struck an accord.  “Who’s Jenna?” you may ask? What an excellent question!  Jenna is a talented young artist who recently approached me for help selling her personalized Christmas ornaments.  After days of grueling negotiations and battle axes, ( ;) ) we came to the aforementioned accord and in return for a banner ad, Jenna will donate a portion of proceeds generated through Snarky Rider to the monthly featured rescue!

See? Even Kermit’s excited about it!

Without further adieu…

My name is Jenna, and I am painting personalized portraits of horses and the occasional dog or cat on Christmas ornaments. I paint in acrylic, generally on glass globes, but can also paint on flat wooden plaques if you would prefer something less breakable. They make wonderful mementos of your own beloved animal, or order one as a gift for a friend or family member. For the Christmas holiday, I usually use Christmas colors for festivity, but can also use your horse’s personal colors for the piece to be displayed year round. For this year and this year only, I am pricing them at $20 apiece to try to get my name out there, and can work out a discount on large orders for those who would like to order multiples for their friends at the barn! I can also do charcoal portraits of your horse, but I truly enjoy making these ornaments, as they are so unique and personalized. Make sure to specify in your email that you heard of me through Snarky Rider!

Queries and/or orders can be sent either to moi (snarkyriderblog@gmail.com) or direct to Jenna (bloodredarabian@yahoo.com).  Be sure to mention where you saw the ad so we know how much to donate to the rescues!

Love this idea! Can I offer a bit of criticism? Not on the artist :) But it would help me to know about how much these normally cost? That way I know ahead of time before I waste the artists time with questions if its something I would do.

Wow! I’m definitely getting a couple! They look awesome, and I can’t think of anything better than having a little Savannah-Ornament on my Christmas tree :D

What a great idea! If shipping wouldn’t cost a fortune, I0d consider getting some.
