…because if she continues with horses as her hobby someone who actually likes horses will likely hurt her. And she’d deserve it!
Nothing in this video is acceptable. The “rider” shows a blatant and selfish disregard for the various animals safety and welfare. She’s only doing this to be “popular” on youtube.
Gawd, how I wanted that poor pony to kick the dude in the junk.
And now for her comments:
“All of you guys that keep sayin crap, get a life. Know the facts about this day, about what I do, about these animals before you comment.
1) The ones at the end were the only time they were rode. Never before and never after.
2) For the amount of time that I rode them, it didn’t hurt them in anway.
3) They’re not broke, they’re not use to anything on their back, so they’re going to act different. Use your common sense on that one.
4) Its not abuse, I know what abuse it. All of them came from abuse/neglect/slaughter and they’re not going back.
5) Not all fo them are mine, not all of them are for sale, not all of them we’re keeping.
Simple as know the facts, think about what you’re posting to think if it makes any sense. And quit frankley, I don’t care if you THINK its abuse and blah blah, think all you want and I’ll know what is the truth.”
This would be more fun if she were an adult, but verbally bitch slapping a 12 year old (sure, she looks older, but she doesn’t act it) just feels unsporting. Especially since I doubt she’d understand and would just pull the “you don’t know me” bullshit. Sweetheart, people don’t need (nor likely want) to know you when you post shit like this on the internet. This video demonstrated zero horsemanship. It was pathetic and despicable and frankly I’m ashamed to share a sport with the likes of you.
All these people that we talk about here and on the Fugly Blog that respond to accusations of abuse by saying we don’t know the full situation and that they know what abuse is and they know they didn’t abuse their horses, well I call bullshit. For someone, anyone, to even question your treatment of an animal for a second means you’re doing something wrong. I would be horrified and reduced to a blubbering, quivering mass if anyone ever even hinted that I might abuse my horse. I don’t know, is it more or less sad that this is a young person and not an adult? Maybe she still has a chance to grow out of her asshatery? Maybe?

Pathetic. My horses were my best friends when I was 12 (and still are to this day). I don’t know about you, but this reminds me of a trust fall where no one catches you.
why would you get on the backs of unbroken horses that have beem abused and belong to someone else?
The excuses are worse than the video!!
They were RESCUED from an abuse situation?!? Looks like they simply changed abusers. The fact that the vast majority of the horses have issues with rearing and bucking tells me that their riding “skills” are seriously lacking.
Seriously. The self-entitlement that seems to be prolific in the upcoming generations just scares the shit out of me. Can you say “parenting fail”?
Isn’t that the truth! And those kids are the future of America.
Yep, it’s my opinion that (not always but most of the time) when you see a little shit like this the blame lies with the parents.
I’m ashamed of my generation, I just turned 19, so I’m in those “upcoming generations”. Granted not as bad as this girl’s but it’s still pretty bad. Going through high school made me loose hope in the future. The stupidity I saw. And they all expect everything to be handed to them and if something’s hard they want someone to hold their hand and walk them through it. Very few of us have any urge to do things ourselves. I grew up being spoiled, but I was also raised properly. I don’t expect things to be handed to me, I’m always open to working for it. I LIKE criticism, because unlike a lot of kids now, I understand that there’s no way to enhance your skills in whatever you’re doing without knowing what you’re doing wrong to fix it. There’s also a lot of the “I know what’s right, even if I’m just a bratty teenager and you’re the person with years and years of experience.”
A girl at my barn was horse shopping and asked our BO to help her. She would take pictures and videos and bring her ads to look at to help her choose. Girl is about 17, has been riding for about 4 or 5 years, she’s looking for her FIRST HORSE to be a JUMPER. Keep those details in mind as I describe the horse she bought after ignoring everything our BO had to say:
4 y/o Hackney mare that stands about 14.3HH. Green broke.
She’s a nice little mare, but this girl is not interested in only doing small cross rails, which would probably be OK. No, she wants to do the big jumps. On a little Hackney. There’s also the fact that she bought a barely trained, super young horse as her FIRST horse. *sigh*
Even back when I was 17 I still had my plans of what my first horse was going to be. They were going to be an older (9-15 ideally) horse that was a been-there-done-that kind of horse. Probably a Quarter Horse, Thoroughbred or Appendix, because I want to jump, but I’m not really picky. I don’t care about aesthetic problems as long as they are structurally sound. Roman face? Scars? Floppy ear? So what. A first horse needs to be a safe and reliable teacher that will accept your mistakes without throwing a hissy fit and take care of you while you learn the ropes of horse ownership.
But these two are already having issues. She’s already getting frustrated with her. It’s pretty easy to see she’s going to ruin what was otherwise a very nice little Hackney horse.
Snotty little animal abusers. Seriously when you have to defend your video with comments right out the gate chances are you know you’re an asshat.
Seeing crap like this makes me sick. Then, because this is what most people see, they judge the entire generation, which isn’t very fair to those of us who actually try our best to be decent human beings. If I had ever tried anything that stupid with any animal, my mom would have scared me into thinking she was going to kill me on the spot!
Here here! Proud to be a teen that was raised right, haha.
If I did that, I’d have my horse, her owner, the barn owner, my instructor, my mom AND my dad all coming after me. My baby is an older mare and she wouldn’t be afraid of showing me whats-what if I messed up that badly!
Every single one of those animals has an evident hatred for this kid. And I don’t blame them one bit.
I am sorry, she can make all the excuses she wants, but “for the amount of time she rode them, it didn’t hurt them in any way”?? I’m pretty sure the length of time she had that poor mini in a spin with her gargantuan arse on its back could not have done anything BUT harm.
What is with her compulsion to ride tiny animals? There’s just something where she sees a wee pony and thinks “Yes! That is an appropriate mount for me, as we are approximately the same weight. Yee haw!”
Where are the parents? Mine would have worn me out if I had pulled any one of her stupid stunts.
Holy shit. And look at all those horses in the pasture, waiting to be ridden with the same carelessness.
As a seventeen-year-old, I apologize for my generation…
Im not sure my parents would have worn me out but I sure as heck wouldnt be sitting for a long long time. You dont treat animals like that, in fact while I was watching the video my 4 and 5 year old girls came in. My 4 yr old said this: she’s gona get a paken mommy, she’s mean. My 5 yr old said this: Mommy didnt no one teach her better? Out of the mouths of babes. Shame Shame Shame. Several animals gave her polite warnings, does she need one that tries to kill her before she learns?
of course, horses are treated worse than this- which is her “this isn’t abuse!!!!” rationality. However, where are her parents? And why haven’t they instilled proper animal treatment into her if they have so many animals? She may not be her/some people’s idea of an abuser, but she’s certainly pissing the crap out of a bunch of animals and not making any 4 legged friends.
That was horrible! You can quite clearly see that none of those horses like her and wtf was she doing that shit on horses that weren’t hers? Leaving the poor horses bloody traumatized, thanks just stuff up any hope of ever breaking those horses in properly. The really stupid things is the ‘bails off the side’ oops I mean falls. She’s got a good seat not to have been kicked and trampled (oh I pray for that day) and she spends half the video doing pathetic leaps off the side of the horse (I suppose the horse is saying bloody good riddance!).
KARMA’S A BITCH SWEETHEART!
If I had done this to any horse in my youth, I would have never sat my butt on another horse until I had moved out.
When I was her age I was eventing a ornery QH/Begian gelding. Whom my coach owned. If I EVER did anything like that to Fury (aptly named) he would have had no trouble bucking me off, and trampling me. Then I would have had to explain to Coach why I was bruised and bloody coming back from turning her horse out with his friends! If I had ever said “Well it doesn’t hurt him”, she would have a) made me feed supper to all 50 horses, while she watched and b) banned me from riding him.
It was always ingrained in us that when a horse is turned out, you don’t bug them! that’s their time to be a horse!
She seems to me to be the kind of kid who bullies other kids then says because she was laughing it wasn’t hurtful. In fact, I’ll bet my left foot she bullies. Because all I see here, is her bullying the animals.
Seems like more people need hard ass coaches and parents.
The only good thing I can say about this is I wish the mini at the end “coco” was a bigger horse she/he has the moves of a reining horse!!! Nice slide stops and spins lol!!! But yeah that chick is stupid!
Ok, I bet we all did something dumb like this in our youth. tried to sit on an unbroke horse, or sat on a min. But for most of us, we did it once. For laughs. For 20 seconds. This girl, she just keeps going!
It horrifies me that she just can’t get the message from those poor little horses that, enough is enough! Get off! The horse doesn’t deserve it!
I just can’t believe it.
I also can’t believe that she fell off trotting bareback. he he he. I have no sympathy for someone who thinks they can ride an unbroken horse but can’t trot bareback.
What makes this even more stupid is that the top comments on YouTube are saying what a good rider she is, and making fun of that stressed out little pony. This just confirms to me that people those idiots who ride minis are bullies who enjoy “riding” horses they can push around.
lol, I know right? what, because the horse was bucking and she was bareback and stayed on? Man, If God had given that miniature another 10hh… She’d never hurt horses again.
*giggles as I imagine that girl trying to “ride” an ornery 18hh warmblood*
Well she falls off often enough and no sign of a helmet so maybe she’s gonna get some sense knocked into her?
I always get angry when someone uses the defence “..BUT I ONLY DID IT JUST THIS ONE TIME AND ONE TIME WON’T HURT!”
It only takes one time to cause a serious injury.
She’s also an “attention hog”–everybody look at me, look at me, look at me!
I still own the horse I had as a 12 year old, and Im 29! She is my life! She was my show horse until we both started to get ring sour, so we changed disaplines and tried a little bit of everything finally settling on trail riding… She’s currently retired and my 6 year old son enjoys being lead around on her occasionally (with a helmet, and a spotter of course!) He’s not too interested in riding so I havent pushed it on him. Horses are my passion, he’s currently into Tae Kwon Do. Anyway, the point is at 12 years old you know right from wrong and clearly all of this video is wrong! The worst part was I think I saw another small child in the background. The chances of that child getting hurt becasue of this childs stupidity are Great! Will that child grow up thinking this kind of behavior is acceptable? As a mother and horse owner I hope that if nothing else my son learns that horses cannot speak for themselves and depend on us to do whats right by them.
And that I agree with 100%
Yup, I thought this dumbass looked familiar. Haven’t seen all of those “bloopers” but I’ve seen a couple of videos by this girl. There is not one single moment on this video that is not a complete and utter FAIL. I can’t even decided what pisses me off more: letting a blind horse stumble into things or keep on riding that mini because it was the only on that wasn’t big enough to throw her of.
I hope she gets kicked in the face. Hard. Then maybe her brain will wake up.
I didn’t watch this when it was posted, and I did now.
And all I can say is that if there’s something more stupid than going out and jumping on an unbroke horse…
…going out and jumping on an unbroke DONKEY and MULE might be it…
(I LOVE the longears, but she’s so lucky that neither of them bucked her off then trampled on her for good measure).
I shared this in the Bad_riding community and someone there said the exact same thing. You must be soul mates
Not soul mates, that WAS me
.
Seriously. I had a hinny when I was about the same age as that girl. I loved that little stinker, but I can’t imagine what he’d have done if I’d treated him the way that moron up there treated those animals. It would have been something nefarious that ended with a hospital trip for me, at the very least.
Uhg. . .I could only watch two and a half minutes. Seriously, if you have /that/ many horses that seem to constantly buck with you. . .you are doing something wrong.
I also would like to apologize for my generation . . .though do I have to count her in mine when she is 10 years younger than me?
Shit, I couldn’t watch this video for more than a few seconds! I seriously hope this kid wakes up and smells the coffee before she breaks her neck (WTF is the helmet!!!!) or seriously harms these animals. She calls it a blooper reel I think she was dropped on her head as a baby and has continued the trend ever since. What the hell was she thinking just walking up to a cow and getting on the damn thing. This kid is crying out for attention and unfortunately we have all just given it to her. (face palm!)
Seriously? Does this child NOT have parents? Guardians? Zoo keepers?!? I can understand her “getting away with it” a few times unbeknownst, but this kid looks to be a chronic offender. Who’s shooting the video? Someone somewhere should file abuse charges in CoCo’s honor (the Mini), if nothing else. Child endangerment? Something that will stop her from barreling down that self-destructive path she’s on before she kills herself (or one of the animals). Charges against the parents, the farm, the kid, shoot; even those two demented dogs.
Someone will find her body one day, sprawled out in the middle of a field, with a large hoof print (possibly a few hundred) in the middle of her forehead if she doesn’t learn to differentiate between the “H” words: humane and hateful. This girl is wreaking both physical and emotional havoc on those poor creatures, and undoubtedly fostering the idea for another brainless wonder somewhere else.
Sooner or later she’ll come across an animal that goes for payback, which won’t be nearly as much “fun” to experience (providing she actually survives it). This just boggles the mind… Oy.
She was mentioned in a comment on Fugly a while back. Her mother runs a rescue in WI. Very sad because her mother does some good work getting animals out of bad situations.I am not sure why this type of thing is going on.
I’m reading through the video comments and horrible spelling aside, a lot of the comments are telling her how good she is. Any comment that may be telling her otherwise no longer exists. Even the ones where they’re telling her that she should wear a helmet or is crazy for doing her “riding” tell her she is a good rider. Even with the mini, everyone is like “lol I hope you didn’t stay on for too long”. The one person that said shame on you, a mini shouldn’t carry more than fifty pounds, was told off for not getting their facts straight. Another commenter said that since “minis can pull up to two full grown adults in a cart” that they could handle someone on their back. Pulling someone in a cart and carrying someone are two different things. The whole comment section made me fill sick. This isn’t a riding that needs to be promoted.
“Another commenter said that since “minis can pull up to two full grown adults in a cart” that they could handle someone on their back.” *head-meet-freaking.desk*
The blind horse walked into the sticks because he’s blind, huh? No, he walked into the sticks because you weren’t guiding him! He was trusting her to guide him safely and she failed. Not to mention how stupid is is to have a blind horse (or any horse for that matter) near anything as dangerous as that very pointy-looking stick pile.
I also like the total disregard to the painfully obvious “Get the hell off of me!” signals the animals were giving her.
She clearly doesn’t ride well enough to be riding bareback and she’s apparently been doing it enough that if she did have any sort of riding skill, she should be able to do it without failing that miserably.
GET OFF OF THE HORSE’S MOUTHS! Good grief, my mare is a good horse, but if I yanked her mouth around like that she’d give me what-for!
“Rode the unbroke just for the video! You’re welcome!” Genius. Absolutely genius. Go ahead, keep doing it, we don’t need your genes in the gene-pool.
I liked the pony “Maybe if I clothesline her on this big horse she’ll leave me alone!”
Where are her parents?
At 3:00, aw, poor baby, did you hurt yourself? Good! You deserved it!
Stop smiling when you’re riding poor Coco! It’s not cute, you’re hurting her!
So much animal abuse in one video. It makes me very sad.
Poor Coco. This little brat is a fucking beast. She doesn’t deserve to have horses. We have some WONDERFUL young girls at our barn who treat their horses humanely and as if they now they as damn lucky to be able to have a damn horse in the first place. This troll doesn’t get any brownie points from me for not knowing better due to her tender age.
She only stayed on poor Coco because her legs are long enough to touch the ground. I was swearing at her the whole video. I, too, apologize for my generation.
I love all the “JUST for this video! (:” comments. So basically, you’re saying you knew you were going to get thrown off and look like a complete moron, and ride horses you have no business even being anywhere near, but you did it anyway so you could have a “funny” video for youtube? Kill yourself.
not to mention she wrecked what might have been a nice pony, with a GOODstart
I don’t think she’ll need to kill herself. If she keeps up this stupidity, the horses will take care of that for her, whether they mean to or not.
I hope she keeps “riding” without a helmet. It will improve the gene pool.
Just saw this. Whenver someone says anything that isn’t worshipping her, their comment is removed. Hint: If every horse you have tries to kill you, isn’t that a sign that you’re DOING SOMETHING WRONG?!
UGH. I also apologize for my generation. We aren’t ALL this stupid I swear.
When I initially commented I clicked the “Notify me when new comments are added”
checkbox and now each time a comment is added I get three emails
with the same comment. Is there any way you can remove people from that service?
Bless you!
Ill try! You might want to try logging in under whatever name you commented under and see f you can change it that way
i think it is amazing that plus size riders worry consistently about weighing too much, riding too hard, or asking too much of their horses, and her is this girl, blessed with the right size, who is clearly taking the shit out of her ponies… makes me sick how plus size riders are judged and this girl still thinks she is in the right. I have spent many years worrying about my size, not showing and hiding my passion… this makes me sick.
